We meet at the confirmed time and place and you are taken in our vehicles to the launch site (15- 20 minutes), which is determined according to the weather patterns on the day.  A light breakfast consisting of Tea-Coffee and snack will be served before you are taken to the take off area. You are then welcome to help us with the inflation of the balloons, which takes about 20 minutes. During the flight our ground crew follows the balloon and meets you at the landing site. After the balloon is packed back in to the bag, you will be taken to your hotel for the breakfast.

Balloon flights are operated everyday of the year weather permitting. This can range from as early as 4 AM in the spring and summer to as late as 6 AM in winter.
Balloons need stable winds to operate effectively and the hours just following sunrise are the best for finding these winds because early morning is the calmest time of day. Since balloons move with the air, the weather is very important in deciding to whether or not to fly. The pilot chooses a launch site to use the wind currents to fly towards a suitable landing site. The whole experience lasts 3 to 4 hours, so you will have the rest of the day to enjoy the many attractions of the Cappadocia.

No, all passengers should stand for the duration of the flight and have bent knees for the landing.

As balloon flights are weather dependent, we cannot guarantee a flight will follow any particular direction. It is our intention that the balloon will be in the air for approximately 1 hour for the Standard and Comfort Flights and 90-100 minutes for the Long Flights but the pilot has ultimate responsibility for deciding the duration, the take-off site and conduct of any flight and the appropriate time and place of any landing.

Rain, fog, low cloud cover, too much wind or not enough wind are the typical weather conditions that will prompt us to postpone a scheduled flight. We consider a wind speed of 10 knots as the upper threshold for safety. Even at that, launches and landings can be hazardous. Each pilot will make his own decision whether or not it is safe to fly.

Flying in a high sided balloon basket is not like standing in a roof or a high ladder. you don't get that vertigo feeling. it is more like the ground is unfolding beneath you and because you are moving with the wind, there is no wind blowing. the basket does not rock or sway so you can't possibly fall out.

No, because there is no physical link between the balloon and the ground (like a ladder or a bridge) there is no feeling of dizziness or vertigo. During the flight the basket remains stable and there is a feeling of incredible ease whilst taking-off. The turbulence which usually causes motion sickness is completely absent in a balloon ride. the flight of a balloon is almost too smooth to describe.

It depends on the wind speed. Hot air balloons travel with the wind and 1 hour flight can carry it up to 25 km sometimes more, sometimes less. The balloon also flies at different altitudes. Although the balloon is at the mercy of the wind when it comes to direction, the vertical control of a balloon can be very precise. It is not unusual for the pilots to be able to brush the bottom of the basket across the tops of trees, or inches from the ground.
Balloons normally fly below 2500 feet, all within federal aviation regulations. At these altitudes you will be able to observe people and animals as time seems to stand still for awhile.

You will see the Kizilirmak river (Red River), The Damsa dam, Goreme valley, Zelve valley, Red valley, Love valley, The Uchisar Castle, Ortahisar castle and the picturesque towns and small villages within Cappadocia. On a clear day you may see the volcanoes of Cappadocia ( The Mt. Erciyes, Mt. Hasan and Mt. Melendiz) and Aladaglar which are the extensions of the Taurus mountains.
Of course places you will se may change depending on the wind direction. It is not possible to see all the above listed places on every flight.

Dress to be comfortable as you would be on a sightseeing tour in Cappadocia depending upon the day's weather conditions. Because a hot air balloon travels at the same speed as the air around it, wind chill factors are eliminated, so if anything, it is typically a bit warmer in the balloon. Do not overdress, particularly in the summer. Also please note that it will be the coldest time of the day especially until you get into the basket.

Take off place for the balloons are from the valleys between Goreme and Cavusin villages. Take off places are specially selected so that you can see the most beautiful and unique landscape of Cappadocia region.
Unfortunately we do not have an answer for the landing place since it is depending on the wind direction. Landing places will be surprise for you but will be not far from your hotel however it may take up to 30 minutes depending on your hotel location.

The entire experience in Cappadocia for Standard and Comfort flights is about 3 hours from start to finish, including hands-on launch, an hour-long flight, refreshments and transport.
Duration of the Long-Deluxe flight may take up to 3,5 to 4 hours also depending on the landing area and your hotel location

We recommend you call a week to 10 days in advance; however, never hesitate to call with less notice because there is a good chance there may be space available on your desired flight. Keep in mind as you make plans that the most heavily-booked time of year is mid- March through mid-November.

Our policy is this: if you're comfortable, we're comfortable. You should be of sound mental and physical condition, and you will be required to sign a waiver of release indicating as such before boarding the balloon.
Pregnant mothers and guests taking medications must consult their physician before flying in a Hot Air Balloon. It is not recommended to go on a balloon ride for advanced pregnant woman.

We encourage families to participate in Hot Air Ballooning, however there are issues to consider before deciding to take your children. The sides of the basket are approximately 100 cm high, therefore, children who are not as tall will not enjoy the beautiful views and may get irritated. Adults are not permitted to hold or carry children during a flight.
A child under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Another fact to consider is, the burners directly above. We've found that very young children, are often frightened by the noise of the burner. Because of these reasons and past experience, children under the age of 5 are not permitted to take the flight.

This is due to the strength of the wind – which isn’t at the same strength on the ground as higher up. We’re obliged to cancel flights when the wind is more than 10 km per hour for safety reasons. 

The answer is very safe. Hot air ballooning has the best safety record of any form of flying. We only fly when conditions are safe, our pilots are highly qualified and all are licensed.
In order to fly paying passengers a pilot must have a commercial license and validated in the country he flies by the Civil Aviation Authority of the respective country, in Turkey it is the Sivil Havacılık Genel Müdürlüğü.
A balloon used for carrying passengers must have a standard-type certification. Every balloon must be inspected annually by an authorized Inspector. Balloons that carry passengers for hire have even more rigorous maintenance requirements.

It depends on the size of the basket. Balloon operators have several sizes of baskets from 4 up to 36 people capacity.
